Intelligent Enterprise Magazine: The only publication dedicated to strategic business applications that turn information into intelligence

Another one bites the dust -- an excerpt from an email I received from the publisher today:

As a valued subscriber to Intelligent Enterprise, we regret to inform you that January will mark the final issue of the publication. This does not mark the end of our coverage of unique quality content about business intelligence and business applications.

Intelligententerprise.com has become the trusted source for IT and Business Professionals for information and user insight about business intelligence, business process management and other leading edge enterprise software solutions and tools. Based on this growth, we will expand our presence online and integrate more user content to address this demand. As a result of this market evolution, Intelligent Enterprise Magazine will cease publication.

Effective immediately, Intelligent Enterprise's unique coverage of this vital market will live on in our sister publication, InformationWeek.

I found my way to Intelligent Enterprise through DBMS Magazine and Database Programming & Design, two publications I subscribed to during the mid-80s.  I'll miss the dead-tree version of the pub.
