Search giant checking out Boston-area office space - The Boston Globe - Boston.com - Business: "Representatives of Internet search provider Google Inc. have been looking at office space around Boston, though the company has yet to make a decision to expand in Massachusetts, a commercial real estate broker confirmed. ''We are working with Google to assist them in evaluating sites in the Boston area,' said Joe Fallon, managing director for Boston brokerage operations at Trammell Crow Co., a real estate firm based in Irwindale, Calif. Steve Langdon, a spokesman at Google headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., said the company has no expansion plans to divulge now. Massachusetts state officials ''would be excited to work with them and have a conversation with them,' said Joseph M. Donovan, spokesman for the Executive Office of Economic Development.
