WSJ.com - Access to Pay $324.3 Million To Acquire PalmSource "PalmSource Inc. agreed to be acquired by Tokyo-based Access Co. for $324.3 million in cash, as the Japanese information-technology software developer seeks to expand its offerings for mobile devices.
Under the deal, PalmSource, the developer of the Palm OS operating system, will merge with the U.S. unit of Access.

Weird timing, as Palm is rumored to be about to introduce its next-gen Treo using Windows Mobile...
