Amazon balks at Google request

Another example of Google attempting to make all of the world's information widely available... Inc., the world's largest Internet retailer, challenged a request by Google Inc. to provide documents that may be used in the fight over Google's book-scanning project. said Google is improperly trying to get confidential information to help defend a program that would compete with the retailer.
