It goes from being a product cycle game to a platform game.”

I am a HUGE fan of the iPhone app model. Imagine as it gets more and more capable? Are the Windows and Office teams aware that this could be the way they lose the hegemony around the franchise? As we know, "it's the apps", right? So, it's not a huge leap to say that people will eventually value their haldheld apps more than their current desktop apps.
