Another Android device licensing win for Microsoft, its 9th in the last 18 months
The agreement provides coverage for Quanta's tablets, smartphones and other consumer devices running the Android or Chrome platforms, according to a news release that said Microsoft will receive royalties from Quanta. The release did not disclose how much Quanta will be paying Microsoft per device.
