Not likely to catch Fire, imho
The launch represents a significant digital bet for the nation's largest bookstore chain, which is battling to increase its share of the thriving e-books market while overseeing more than 1,300 book stores. Barnes & Noble has had some success with its Nook line of e-readers, which have helped it gain what it estimates is a 27% stake in the e-book market. But by introducing a tablet computer, which consumers can use to watch video, listen to music or surf the Web, the book retailer is entering a much more crowded market.
