Google’s planetary instrumentation quest expands
Google said Wednesday it is adding real-time transit info to Google Maps in San Francisco and five additional cities (Boston, Portland, Ore., San Diego, San Francisco, Madrid and Turin, Italy).
“Starting now, Google Maps for mobile and desktop can tell you when your ride is actually going to arrive with new live transit updates,” Google said in a blog post.
