Another story about AirTran's troubles. My fiance went to the airline's Web site last night to check in and print her boarding pass. To her dismay, she found that she had already been checked in and a seat had been assigned to her, without any knowledge on her part.
According to the customer service rep at AirTran's 1-800 number, the airport checked her in as the result of the on-going computer problems from the "upgrade." Maybe it's totally harmless, but this seems like a pretty dangerous mistake that could cause any number of identity theft (or even homeland security issues).
I know AirTran is cheap and affordable, and all that, but this is out of control. Has anyone else run into this problem in the last few days?
