Apple Extends Deal for 99¢ Downloads - New York Times: "Apple has sold more than one billion songs since introducing iTunes in 2003; the service lets customers choose from among two million music tracks.
Sales of iPods and content sold through iTunes accounted for 50 percent of Apple's sales last quarter, up from 38 percent a year earlier."
