WSJ.com - Dell Hires Gruzen Away From H-P For Notebook Arm "In another sign of their bitter rivalry, Dell Inc. has hired the former head of Hewlett-Packard Co.'s notebook and hand-held personal computers to help manage its notebook-PC and consumer-electronics product development.

Mr. Gruzen was one of the 35 original members of the joint H-P/Compaq team of managers appointed to sort out product lines and strategies in advance of the stockholders' vote on the acquisition. H-P completed its purchase of Compaq in 2002. Before joining Compaq in 1996, he spent six years at Japanese consumer-electronics behemoth Sony Corp."
