WSJ.com: Charter Backs Away From Plans To Use Microsoft's TV Software "Charter had announced a relationship with Microsoft in November, stating that it expected to use the software company's technology in as many as a million homes over the next several years. But it didn't designate a software supplier when it announced plans for the high-profile set-top device last month. The box is being developed with digeo Inc., a television company founded by Paul G.
