Slack Hires First Chief Security Officer - Digits - WSJ

"Mr. Belknap was responsible for physical security and information security for more than five years at Palantir, which provides link analysis, largely to government surveillance agencies. He also served as an adviser to several startups.

Slack also announced Keith Adams joined the team from Facebook as chief architect. Adams co-founded Facebook AI Research. Slack CEO Stewart Butterfield told The Wall Street Journal last year he wanted to see Slack’s built-in virtual assistant Slackbot evolve into a [sic] artificially intelligent tool similar to the character in the film “Her.”"
