WikiLeak's recent diplomatic document dump has stirred up a huge political storm, and the fact that the website was making use of Amazon.com's cloud computing service started becoming a big problem for the Seattle online retailer. Lieberman said he will be asking Amazon about the "extent of its relationship with Wikileaks," indicating his inquiries aren't over yet.

Update: WikiLeaks appeared to confirm its removal from Amazon, tweeting, "WikiLeaks servers at Amazon ousted. Free speech the land of the free--fine our $ are now spent to employ people in Europe." The site later added, "If Amazon are so uncomfortable with the first amendment, they should get out of the business of selling books."
