That Twitter war of words between Jets safety Kerry Rhodes and Rodney Harrison last week? NBC Sports spokesman Brian Walker said yesterday an impostor had set up an account purporting to belong to the former Patriots safety.
The unidentified poseur claimed he was simply using comments Harrison made on ESPN radio. He promised to close down the Twitter account, writing, “I signed out this account on 6/18/09 and didn’t post until this month. I never meant to pretend I was him, I just went with it.’’
