Ellison Says Oracle May Build Netbooks - WSJ.com

Oracle Corp. Chief Larry Ellison said that his company might build a variety of devices as a result of its planned acquisition of Sun Microsystems Inc., including "netbooks," the small, inexpensive computers that are increasingly popular.

The comments came during a brief appearance at Sun's annual JavaOne conference Tuesday. Mr. Ellison also said that Oracle planned to invest heavily in Sun's Java programming technology, the focus of the event.
