Google reality check
Turns out Google CEO Eric Schmidt wasn't lying when he told attendees of the Web 2.0 Summit that Google had not reserved $500 million of YouTube's $1.65 billion purchase price to resolve the copyright infringement claims that might be made against it. The company didn't set aside $500 million, it set aside $224 million.
