WSJ.com - Oracle Raises Bid For PeopleSoft To $24 a Share

WSJ.com - Oracle Raises Bid For PeopleSoft To $24 a Share: "Oracle Corp. raised its bid for software rival PeopleSoft Inc. to $24 a share from $21 a share, putting further pressure on PeopleSoft's board.
Oracle's higher bid comes less than a week after European antitrust regulators cleared the company's efforts to buy PeopleSoft. The decision by the European Commission removed the last antitrust hurdle that threatened to block Oracle from making the acquisition."

Okay, I guess they really mean it...
