You ain't seen nothing yet, says Microsoft
"David Vaskevitch is Microsoft's Mr Change. The software giant's chief technology officer may have been with the company for 17 years, but he still wakes up every day agonising about where the business is headed. This decade, says Vaskevitch, will see more changes in the computer industry than the previous 50 years put together. Far from stagnating, he reckons the business is about to see explosive growth.
"We will go from millions of devices to billions by the end of the decade. We are in a period in which we are going to see the most rapid and profound change in the history of computers. The changes we will see in this decade that we are now a quarter of the way through will be larger than all the changes combined we saw in the preceding 50 years," he tells the Telegraph."
