Annoying Comcast stalls

I've noticed a pattern since attbi became Comcast recently -- IE occasionally stalls when browsing; it eventually returns, most of the time, but it can stall for a minute or more. I initially thought it might have something to do with Comcast's content caching algorithms, but Mozilla continues to work fine for nearly all sites. Weird and very annoying...
