WSJ.com - Gadgets: As Wireless Network Prices
Drop, Wi-Fi Demand Soars
Prices have dropped so much that wireless networks now aren't much more expensive than a fancy cordless phone. The low prices, in the neighborhood of $200, and high visibility in retail stores like Best Buy have fueled demand. The number of home network devices shipped is expected to nearly double this year.
